Building a New Site — Step by Step
- Go to https://rankwarden.io
- Fill in the form:

| Domain | The exact domain you bought for this site — e.g. rocklincarpetcleaner.com |
| CallRail Phone | The tracking number for this site (or a placeholder if you don't have one yet) |
| Lead Email | Where the contact-form leads should go. Use your own email for now — change it later to the client's email once you land one |
| Services | Usually fills in by itself for niches we've already built (like carpet cleaning). If it's a brand-new niche, type the services yourself, comma-separated |
| Skip DNS Wiring | Leave unchecked normally. Only check this if you're just testing and don't want it to touch a real domain |
- Click ⚡ Build Site
- Wait — it will build the whole website and push it live automatically.
- You'll get a live link when it's done. Click it, check the site looks right.
That's the whole process. Domain, hosting, and the site itself are all handled automatically.
What It Does NOT Do (Yet)
The button builds a real, live website — but it's a starting point, not a finished product. After it's built, you (or Andrew) still need to:
- Replace placeholder text with real content. The words on the site are marked
[PLACEHOLDER]and are generic — they need a real writing pass before the site is truly ready to hand to a client or advertise. - Set up the real CallRail number if you used a placeholder.
- Set up Google Business Profile (GMB), citations, and backlinks — these are separate manual steps, not part of this tool.
- Update the tracker spreadsheet — not automated yet. Add the new site to the RankWarden tracker on Google Drive by hand for now.
Think of the button as: "build the house and turn on the lights." Furnishing it (the real content) still takes a separate pass.
Building a Site in a NICHE We Haven't Done Before
If you type a niche that isn't carpet cleaning (or another niche we've already researched), the Services field won't auto-fill — you'll need to either: - Type in a reasonable service list yourself, or - Ask Andrew to do the research first (scouting real competitor sites + keyword data for that niche) before you build the first site in it. This keeps the site's content grounded in real data instead of guesses.
If Something Looks Wrong
- Site down at rankwarden.io? Message Andrew — it's possible the VPS restarted and needs a check (it's set up to restart itself automatically, but flag it if it's down more than a few minutes).
- Built site doesn't load? Give it a few minutes — Cloudflare sometimes takes a moment to finish setting up a brand-new domain.
- Old page showing instead of the new one? Hard-refresh your browser (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows).
